We begin with exploring Brunswick’s bustling Sydney road, the epicentre of cultural Melbourne. Flavours of the Middle East are prominent here and we start by soaking up the atmosphere with a plate full of Turkish ‘meze’ and a strong cup of Tea infused with cinnamon. We try authentic flavours at some of the oldest family owned Turkish eating establishments in Melbourne.
Taste the authentic ‘Pide’ – Turkish pizza, ‘Dolma’ and ‘Pilaf’- spiced rice. To finish, the sweetness of beautifully flavoured ‘Baklava’ and ‘Muhallebi’ – traditional milk puddings with a cup of Turkish coffee.

Things to keep in mind:
This is a walking tour; however it is not fast paced and is comfortable for most people. The walk from the various venues is about 30-40 minutes in total with breaks at each vendor; however we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes.
